Cannot say enough about the level of care and detail that the team provided to me at my initial appointment. The whole team, including the surgeon, were so thorough in terms of educating me and answering my questions about a procedure I am considering. I went to do a consultation for a breast lift and tummy tuck. All personnel was very professional and friendly. The place is clean and modern. They ask very good questions and are very thorough. Then, we saw Dr. Bloom. He was fantastic. He asked more questions and he answered all of mine. He was very straight forward with expectations, risks, recovery and procedures to be done. There was no pressure to book the surgery at all. They did give the estimate amount and will contact me to follow up. No need, I booked the procedure. So far, great experience.

I am not even sure where to begin. My consultation was thorough, and Dr. Bloom and Judy spent over an hour with me explaining the procedure and what recovery would look like. When I discussed potentially wanting liposuction on my back they were very honest and told me that I did not need it. They were so awesome that I made my decision the same day to get my procedure scheduled (which was an abdominoplasty with liposuction, muscle and hernia repair). My pre surgical appointment was very informative and I was provided with all of the information necessary for the big day. On surgery day Dr. Bloom was timely and was there to make me feel as comfortable as possible before the procedure. Dr Bloom does not skimp on his time with each patient. He spent about 5 hours on my procedure. Today marks one week since I had my procedure, and when I tell I call harassed Dr Bloom all weekend that is an understatement. It was my first procedure EVER and I wanted to make sure I was doing everything right. He called me back within minutes each time and was extremely patient. Today was my 1 week appointment and I was a little on edge from discomfort and lack of sleep, but Dr. Bloom and his staff were complete angels. I haven’t even got to the best part, my stomach looks amazing (It is still in the early healing process but I will definitely share pictures at a later date). The price was also reasonable for all the work, time , and effort they have put in to restoring my abdomen. 5 stars are simply not enough. I will be forever grateful for the skill and precision Dr Bloom and his staff have exhibited during and after my procedure.

I had melanoma cancer on face… Never meet Dr. Bloom until my surgery day. He is a wonderful human being and his assistant Meg!! Both made me feel I’m in good hands. And I was!!! He was VERY thorough and great personality! I feel I was in the best care. The whole staff is wonderful and caring!!!! From start to finish!! Shout out to , Sarah making me feel welcome ,first walking in and Jennifer, with gentle hands and big smiles, to Ann. She was so attentive and caring… I can’t thank everyone enough!! After being there 5 minutes, Dr. Bloom set me at ease about the huge injury on my face. I had been a wreck for the five days since it happened, and in 5 minutes I felt much much better. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Dr. Bloom and his staff. He sincerely and honestly cares about his patients. He is not on the “upsell” plan like so many others. He will offer suggestions based on your concerns/needs and absolutely make sure it’s your choice by providing you with food for thought.The staff is very friendly, supportive and they work well in unison with each other.I’m only sad and glad…(bittersweet) that I don’t have to see them anymore (my needs were more medical VS cosmetic), unless I want to for cosmetic treatments. Over the last 6 months I had 3 major Skin Cancers removed with Reconstructive Surgeries performed by Dr.Bloom. Thank you Dr.Bloom and your amazing team. Morgan and Lucie are compassionate…( I cried a lot 😢) they are patient and accommodating (I often didn’t want to drive 4hrs for a recheck). But, I believe as good as they are…it starts at the Top from the Doc!That being you …My friend and confidant…Dr.Bloom…I was so scared when I learned I had a Melanoma on my old Senior face! 😏 And, after it was removed I would have a lengthy reconstructive surgery, and probably ending up with a large scar. I was scared my young grandchildren would be frightened by GiGi! 😬This surgery was complicated by the fact that only a month earlier I was diagnosed with extensive blood clots in my lungs. Fast forward… Dr.Bloom took personal responsibility with the Staff at the Hinsdale Surgical Center to make sure that all manor of Care was taken to assure my safety before, during and after the procedure. They listened well to my concerns and honored them all. Dr Jacob held my hand and offered his sleeve during my “ugly cry” now really… who does that!Not only did I feel completely “at ease by the time I went into the operating room that first time but each and every time there after.I asked Dr. Bloom to do his “best” with my old face, but when my face healed it was Exceptional! Unbelievable…Amazing! He is a wonderfully kind, tender hearted man and just so happens to be an exceptionally skilled doctor of surgery.I would trust Dr Jacob with my old face, or ( new face if I had one) and anything else he will need to repair from my years in the sun. He has not seen the last of me and for that I am grateful. Molly 💚

I can’t say enough about Dr Bloom or Bloom Plastic Surgery. I had a melanoma removed from the center of my forehead. The hole was larger than a golf ball. I was devastated. It has been 3 months since Dr Bloom performed the repairs you really have to look hard to see a mark. Truly incredible!!! I can’t say enough about Dr Bloom, and his team. Dr. Bloom and his team were wonderful. From the moment we walked in and through our consult visit, Dr. Bloom took his time with us and made sure we understood everything. Towards the end of our visit, Dr. Bloom left time for questions and answers. My wife, son and I NEVER felt rushed or that we were wasting his time. Even though we were the last appointment he had suggestions for us that he followed up on that evening. Dr. Bloom performed forehead lipoma surgery on me and everything was top notch. Everyone from front desk and nurses were very pleasant and helpful. Dr. Bloom has come to our rescue twice now, and we are so lucky to have met him. First, we were referred by our pediatrician when my then 4 year old got hurt at recess. Dr. Bloom went out of his way to help and accommodated us coming in for stitches even though he was done seeing patients for the day (and was even on his way home). It’s been 1.5 years since those stitches and my son has zero scar. When I got the dreaded phone call again that my 3 year old got hurt at school- my first call was to Dr. bloom. His office staff is incredible and were able to squeeze us in. During the stitches- he made my 3 year old feel comfortable and is up to date on all things kid related. The staff is incredibly friendly as well. I hope we don’t have to come back….but I know who to call first if there is another incident.

Saw Dr. Bloom two years ago for BCC.Dr. Bloom explained in detail what would be expected before my procedure. Which in turn made me feel comfortable and less nervous.This experience was important to me due to past surgeries that weren’t so pleasant.The outcome: Can’t even see the scar where surgery was performed.Since then, I have another BCC. I will definitely be getting my surgery from Dr. Bloom.If you’re looking for a great plastic surgeon and an efficient friendly staff; I highly recommend Dr. Bloom.

Everyone at both offices are amazing !! Dr.Bloom is the first doctor I had do my lip fillers and Botox and years later would never go anywhere else ! I went to both of his offices the one on downtown and his burr ridge location, both offices are super nice and clean, the girls at the front desk were very nice and took me in right away, the dr took very good care of me, I was referred to dr Bloom and I have to say that he has been one of the best Doctors I have ever seen, he was able to restored my messed up ear, it’s almost back to normal, if It wouldn’t been for Dr. Bloom god knows how my ear would look like. I had breast reduction on 3/1/21. 6 weeks later, my scars are barely noticeable. His incisions are so very thin and perfect, that I can not even see that anything was done around the areolas. The shape of the breasts are very natural. I could not be happier. He explained every step of the way, and he is compassionate. His support staff is responsive and supportive to any needs. Dr. Jacob Bloom is the gravy train of knowledge and full of plastic surgery information. He is knowledgeable, and can go in detail about the science stuff while simplifying it all. I went in for a breast reduction during a pandemic, and concerned about how long the process would take along with recovery . I had trouble expressing what aches I had due to my breast size and my ideal size but Dr. Bloom is an exceptional listener, attentive and knew what questions to ask. He was able to summarize all my issues and work out a surgery plan with realistic expectations. I am happy with my results.Judy is a Wonder Woman and makes the entire experience effortless. Judy worked with my BCBS PPO insurance and quoted me prices before my surgery started so I knew what to expect. After jumping through hoops to get my surgery approved by insurance, Judy was able to set me up for success and scheduled surgery within 2 weeks of approval. This was during Covid so the turnaround time was incredible. After surgery she and Dr. Bloom check in on me and reviewed the after care plan. Thank you Judy for always accommodating my schedule and treating me so well.The support crew also provide exceptional service and truly help with your concerns and issues. I recently went to see Dr. Bloom for an excision of a Ganglion Cyst on my hand. The scheduling was simple with help from the professional and friendly staff. Was referred to Dr Bloom by my dermatologist for a non-cosmetic procedure. The staff was amazing, the Burr Ridge office was easy to find. Dr Bloom was professional and knowledgeable and took great time and care. Would highly recommend this provider and this practice!
