Best Plastic Surgeons 2026: Dr. Bloom Recognized by Newsweek
We’re pleased to share that Dr. Bloom has been recognized in Newsweek’s America’s Best Plastic Surgeons 2026, earning recognition in three surgical categories: Abdominoplasty (Tummy Tuck), Eyelid Surgery, and Rhinoplasty.
The annual ranking is produced by Newsweek in partnership with global data and research firm Statista and recognizes plastic surgeons across six commonly performed cosmetic procedures.
How Are America’s Best Plastic Surgeons Selected?
Unlike awards that require physicians to apply or submit themselves for consideration, the Newsweek and Statista ranking relies heavily on recommendations from other medical professionals.
For the 2026 ranking, more than 5,500 doctors were evaluated and more than 10,000 votes were collected. Medical professionals with knowledge of plastic surgery were asked to recommend leading surgeons by procedure, with self-recommendations prohibited.
The methodology also considered assessments of quality of care, including consultation, complications, follow-up care and surgical outcomes. Certification by the American Board of Plastic Surgery was also incorporated into the scoring.
Ultimately, 578 individual plastic surgeons across the country received recognition in at least one category.
Recognition in Tummy Tuck, Eyelid Surgery, and Rhinoplasty
Dr. Bloom’s inclusion in the Tummy Tuck, Eyelid Surgery, and Rhinoplasty categories is particularly meaningful because the rankings are procedure-specific rather than a general list of plastic surgeons.
While no ranking can replace researching a surgeon’s training, experience, approach and results, we appreciate the recognition from Newsweek and Statista and, especially, the professional recommendations that contributed to it.
