Now with the AccuTite system by Inmode we can address small fat and moderate skin laxity without major surgery! Board certified plastic surgeon Dr. Jacob Bloom at Bloom Plastic Surgery in Chicago, IL can help you improve the appearance of small troublesome face and body areas that need both fat removal and soft tissue tightening. This cutting edge treatment is considered “micro-invasive,” which means there are no scalpels, no sutures and no general anesthesia needed.

For those looking for “surgical like results” of procedures such as facelift or neck lift without the scars, thankfully there is a new cutting edge solution. AccuTite by InMode is a versatile procedure that can be tailored to almost every small body area. Outside of the face/neck this can be used on body areas such as the fat in the bra line and the upper knees. Utilizing RFAL (Radio-Frequency Assisted Lipoplasty), AccuTite can provide advanced results that go beyond some of the shortcomings seen with traditional liposuction or non-invasive modalities such as CoolSculpting.

Whether you have always had small pinchable problem areas in the face, neck and body or if you have noticed a changed appearance with weight loss, or aging, AccuTite can take years off the clock.

How to plan for an AccuTite procedure

AccuTite is a highly customizable procedure with a range of options tailored for your individual needs. Common treatment zones are the jowls, lower eyelids, nasolabial folds or small body areas such as the fat under the chin or bra line fat. Multiple areas can be treated in one visit and it is used almost exclusively in the office which means no need for general anesthesia! AccuTite is a breakthrough technology that uses Radio-Frequency to heat tissue and skin in a controlled and safe fashion. Radiofrequency used by the InMode platform coagulates small blood vessels decreasing post-op bruising and swelling when compared to other minimally invasive procedures. This helps melt fat, contract the fibro-septal network that contributes to sagging and leads to tightening of the skin. When combining AccuTite with Morpheus 8 (Radiofrequency Microneedling) to target deep wrinkles or moderate skin laxity, Dr Bloom can deliver absolutely stunning results that last years! While some immediate results will be seen, final results are typically appreciated at 6-9 months after treatment.

While the number of options can seem, at times, overwhelming, Dr. Bloom and his staff will walk you through each step of the consultation and surgical process regarding the AccuTite Procedure. This will help to ensure that you understand all of your options, the benefits and risks of each one, and how each option will impact your final results. This will help set your expectations ensure that your surgery results in the defined look you desire.

The AccuTite Procedure and Recovery

The AccuTite procedure usually lasts about 1 hour, and is performed as an office procedure under local anesthesia. First Dr. Bloom will numb the area using local anesthetic to ensure patient comfort. Following this the AccuTite handpiece will be used to bring internal and external tissue temperatures to the point at which they contract and shrink during the healing process. Once the area has been uniformly treated, Dr. Bloom will use Morpheus 8 (Radiofrequency Microneedling) to help enhance results even further. Safety and your comfort are of the utmost importance performing your procedure. Small areas can successfully be safely and comfortably completed with oral sedatives and local anesthetic in our office procedure room. After the procedure, some treated areas will be dressed with a compression garment to prevent swelling. The most common side effects after an AccuTite procedure are moderate discomfort, bruising and some swelling. In addition to compression and activity restrictions, Dr. Bloom will prescribe a mild pain medication to help alleviate discomfort. Most patients find they need about a week of social downtime; all patients should avoid strenuous activity for the first several days to allow all swelling to subside and ensure complete healing. Specific postoperative instructions will be explained in detail by Dr. Bloom and his staff during the pre-operative appointment.
